The T400 Series Target Drone Recovery Parachute System is engineered for precise, automated retrieval of target drones, ensuring safe, repeatable recovery in military training and testing scenarios. Every component works in harmony to streamline the process, from deployment to post-landing integrity.

1. Core Components & Their Roles
Each part is designed for synergy, ensuring reliable recovery:

Drogue & Drogue Pouch: The drogue, stored in a protective pouch, is released first to stabilize the drone and initiate towing of the main system, setting the stage for orderly deployment.

Drogue Bridle & Deployment Bag: The bridle connects the drogue to the deployment bag (housing the main canopy and lines), enabling systematic extraction of the main components.

Main Canopy & Lines: A robust main canopy, supported by reinforced lines, generates lift for steady, controlled descent once fully deployed.

Delayed Cutter: A critical timing component that triggers to release binding lines, ensuring the main canopy inflates at the optimal moment for stable descent.

Harness & Disconnection Adapter: The harness secures the system to the drone, while the adapter detaches the parachute post-descent—preventing entanglement and protecting both the drone and parachute from damage.

2. Automated Recovery Workflow
The system operates through a precise, hands-free sequence:

Command Activation: Upon receiving a recovery command, the drone’s control system opens the canister, releasing the drogue into the airflow behind the tail.

Drogue Inflation & Extraction: As the drogue inflates, it tows the deployment bag, extracting the main canopy and straightening the lines in an orderly manner.

Main Canopy Deployment: The delayed cutter activates to release binding lines, allowing the main canopy to fully inflate and initiate steady descent.

Separation & Landing: During descent, the disconnection adapter detaches the parachute from the drone, ensuring the drone lands safely and intact, ready for reuse.

3. Core Advantages

Automated Precision: Eliminates manual intervention, relying on timed components (e.g., delayed cutter) and sequential activation for consistent, error-free performance.

Integrity Preservation: The disconnection adapter prevents post-landing entanglement, safeguarding both the drone and parachute system from damage—critical for repeated use in training or testing.

Seamless Integration: Designed to sync with drone control systems, ensuring compatibility with diverse target drone models in military or testing fleets.

4. Ideal For

Military target drone recovery in training exercises, where reliable retrieval supports repeated use.

Drone testing scenarios requiring consistent, safe retrieval to preserve equipment for ongoing evaluations.

Operational environments where maintaining drone functionality post-mission is essential for cost efficiency and mission continuity.
